✨ 7 Boss Babe Wellness Essentials// Ever notice how healthy habits get a lot easier when you have the right tools around you?

These are a few things I use every single week to stay organized, hydrated, and fueled during busy days.

My current Boss Babe wellness essentials:

None of these are fancy, but they make healthy habits so much easier to maintain when life gets busy.

☕️ Coffee & Clarity // 2026: Episode 5 – Part II ✨Now that we covered what collagen is in Part I, let’s talk about what collagen actually does.

Research suggests collagen may support:
✨Skin health – improvements in elasticity, hydration, and wrinkle appearance when taken consistently for several weeks
✨Joint comfort – particularly for wear-and-tear or osteoarthritis
✨Connective tissue support – especially when paired with resistance training or rehab
✨Bone health – supportive role alongside adequate calcium, vitamin D, and strength training

One interesting piece of research shows collagen may work best when paired WITH movement! Consuming collagen with a small amount of vitamin C about 30–60 minutes before exercise may help support collagen synthesis in connective tissues 🍊🍓

But remember, collagen is supportive - not a replacement for complete protein if your goal is building or maintaining muscle 💪🏻

Quick Research-Based Dosing Guide (general ranges)
✨ Skin health: ~2.5–10 g/day for 8–12 weeks
🦵 Joint support: ~5–10 g/day
🦴 Bone support: ~5–10 g/day alongside calcium, vitamin D, and resistance training
🏋️ Tendon/ligament support: ~10–15 g/day taken before resistance/loading or rehab exercise

*Most supplements contain Type I and Type III collagen, which are commonly studied for skin and connective tissues.

Collagen is one of the most talked-about supplements right now but it’s also one of the most misunderstood.

Quick clarity:
✨Collagen = structural protein
✨Several types of collagen - Type I, Type II, Type III
✨Not a replacement for complete proteins
✨Does NOT support muscle building like whey protein
