Will socks make for better sexy time? 👀

In 2005, an experiment was done that implied that wearing socks during s3x increased the chance of 0rga$m by 30%.

But, this experiment was looking at brain activity in 13 couples. So a small sample size, and even the main researcher later said that his report was misconstrued by the media.

While you could argue socks could help, one because the feet and pelvic floor are strongly connected and because the gen1ta1ls are in close proximity to the feet in the homunculus.

But having an Oh takes a lot more than fuzzy footwear. So I would put all your climax eggs in the sock drawer. But if you want to test it out for yourself in the name of science, why not. And if you need some cute socks for the occasion check out for some fun bedroom accessories.

Happy Halloween inspired by one of my favorite scary movie franchises.

Pelvic pain can make you want to scream. Sadly, there is no single trick that will fix it.

Kegels are not the answer to your pelvic floor problems.

Pregnancy is not a cure for Endometriosis.

So if you want to treat your pelvic floor find a pelvic floor therapist who can help make your symptoms less frightening.

Not a standard of care

In one study that looked at 9914 patients postpartum at one medical facility, only 12.5% of them received a referral to pelvic floor PT.

Meanwhile PT is a standard of care for most orthopedic issues, like an ACL injury. I strongly believe that pelvic floor therapy following childbirth should be a standard of care like it is in many other countries.

Considering how many postpartum people deal with things like urinary and f***l incontinence, constipation, back, hip and pelvic pain.

Instead these patients are sent home to suffer in silence and made to think these symptoms are just their new normal.

Can we please change this narrative. 🙏

While his intentions are good, knowing the really matters. And the uterus just isn’t that high up.

Yes things like and can cause bloating or a bloated appearance. Otherwise, the uterus is the size of a pear and lives inside of the pelvis. Unless someone is pregnant.

But the human body is not meant to be smooth and perfect like a Greek statue. Love your belly as it is, if you are worried you have something like a fibroid or a GI issue, see your doctor 🤓

Many people don’t realize that the uterus does most of the work during a vaginal delivery 🧐

The uterus contracts to help push the baby out. Meanwhile, the pelvic floor muscles just need to be like the song and get out the way.

This can be done by learning breathing techniques to facilitate relaxation. Practicing the perineal massage at home. Or learning how to properly lengthen the pelvic floor or push. There are various positions during labor that can help make these things easier to do. All of which can be part of a visit with a pelvic floor specialist.
