Sam Sebastian Somatics Transformative Bodywork is a collaborative, client-centered experience. A dynamic blend of Esalen® I like to think of it as a dance.

Transformative Bodywork is a collaborative client centered experience between the massage therapist & the client. I start every massage by connecting to my client’s energy center and with the ringing of a Crystal Singing Bowl. This sends out a vibration that is both soothing and healing. The foundation of my Bodywork is Esalen Massage & Deep Bodywork. Esalen Massage incorporates long integrative strokes, creating a sensation that the body is whole rather than segmented into parts, the slow rhythmic strokes allow my clients bodies & psyche to flow in and out of consciousness, and if requested, for me to perform Deep Bodywork. We all hold a lot of stress in our shoulders, necks, backs, hips, and so many other places throughout our bodies. If you are needing a massage that will increase your range of motion and release the tension your body is holding, come see me. In addition to Esalen Massage & Deep Bodywork, I incorporate Sports Massage, Stretching, Rocking, Compression, and Energy Work.

Join and me for our next Intro to Esalen Massage for Men Workshop on Saturday, March 29th & Sunday, March 30th! Our workshop is suitable for men, both beginners & massage professionals, who want to learn the art of the Esalen® approach to massage. Part of why we do this work is to destigmatize touch between men and create a container to come together and support each other on healing journeys collectively.

This class will offer 12 hrs of CEUs for practitioners.
