उद्धरेदात्मनाऽत्मानं नात्मानमवसादयेत् ।
आत्मैव ह्यात्मनो बन्धुरात्मैव रिपुरात्मनः ॥
One must uplift oneself by one’s own effort and not degrade oneself. The self alone can be one’s friend or one’s enemy.
Childhood lays the foundation of our life. What we learn in those early years shapes us, yet the Gita reminds us that nothing is fixed forever—through awareness and right action, we can grow, refine, and transform. As I reflect on my life now, I understand that every experience, whether learned early or discovered later, becomes a teacher guiding me toward clarity and purpose.
Our foundation is formed in childhood, and our growth remains in our own hands.
