Go Folic! Get Healthy Go Folic! Women's Nutrition Project is a project of the SF Department of Public Health. Folic Acid isn't just for pregnant women. Ladies, listen up...Go Folic!

Our goal is to raise awareness about the benefits of folic acid through community outreach, education, and free multi-vitamin distribution in San Francisco. It's an important B vitamin that is used everytime your body makes new cells. Having enough folic acid can promote healther hair, skin, and nails, protect your body aganist certain cancers, and support heart health. Folic Acid can also reduce the risk of serious birth defects, but must be taken 3 months to a year before pregnancy. No matter what stage of your life you're in, take care of your health and make sure you are getting what your body needs. Find out more at http://gofolic.org

The science hasn’t changed. COVID-19 vaccines lower the chance of severe illness and hospitalization.

CDPH continues to recommend that everyone age 6 months and older should have access and the choice to receive COVID-19 vaccines.

We’re working closely with partners to promote vaccine access and provide clear, science-based info about their benefits.
