The ISRS mourns the passing of Dr. Perry S. Binder, a pioneering refractive surgeon, educator, and former President of our society.

Dr. Binder’s contributions to ophthalmology, and to the field of refractive surgery in particular, have left a lasting legacy. His vision, leadership, and dedication to innovation inspired generations of surgeons around the world.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and the countless lives he touched throughout his remarkable career.
