We are happy to share information about this upcoming LGBTQ Yosemite trip with you. Scholarships are available for this 8 day Pride event.
G**s of National Parks is a community-driven LGBTQ+ organization creating space for connection, belonging, and exploration through shared outdoor experiences. We bring together people from across the country and build community in places where LGBTQ+ people haven’t always felt visible or included.
This June, we’re hosting our third annual Yosemite Outbound — an 8 day, 7 night experience in partnership with the Yosemite Conservancy.
Participants begin by celebrating Pride in Yosemite, then spend the week camping in Yosemite Valley and the Eastern Sierra — exploring waterfalls, alpine lakes, and high elevation meadows while building real connection with other LGBTQ+ people from across the country.
No prior camping experience is required. Gear, guidance, and trip structure are provided to make the experience accessible, even for first-time campers. The week flows directly into San Francisco Pride, creating a unique opportunity to experience both nature and community in one continuous journey.
There are two ways to attend:
• General registration
• Community Access Grants (Anita Vacation Fund) for those who need financial support
If cost is a barrier, we strongly encourage applying for the grant.
If this resonates, we’d love to have you join. And if you know someone who could benefit from this experience, please feel free to share.
