“I have many favorite things at Camp because it’s a wonderful place, but one of my favorite things from this summer was when I played basketball, and I made a few baskets! I don’t have this opportunity at home,” shares longtime Enchanted Hills Camper, Ken Rossi.

“The one word I could describe Enchanted Hills is magical. It’s a place where one can try new things and have great support. I’m looking forward to Camp next summer to have more fun and try something new!”

To help give another camper this incredible experience next summer, make your , DONATE HERE: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/ydzbpp/

Video Description: A crowd chants “Go Rossi, go Rossi, go!” as a counselor wheels Ken Rossi towards the basket in his wheelchair. Another counselor taps the tip of the basketball rim with a white cane so Ken can hear where the basket is and which direction to aim. He shoots the ball, makes the basket, and a crowd of campers and counselors cheer.

From hiking through redwoods to making music under the stars, Enchanted Hills Camp gives its blind, Deafblind, and low vision campers more than just hours of fun; it provides confidence, independence, and a deep sense of belonging.

Here’s something amazing that you may not know:
-Every camper attends Enchanted Hills completely free of charge.
-Despite being free for our campers, camp costs over $750,000 each summer, which is about $2,500 per person for a week.

“My family has been to EHC three times. We felt very safe and had a lot of fun! We love the food and atmosphere throughout the camp. We really enjoyed the air of the forest, making art, fishing, and yoga. It is a unique camp, very organized, and good for kids to enjoy!” – Camper Tatsiana

Families with one or more blind, low vision, or DeafBlind family members, no matter their ages, can attend EHC together. The experience of Family Camp provides a unique opportunity for the entire family to bond and grow together.

We are so excited that our Giving Tuesday campaign has raised nearly $12,500 in support of EHC camperships! We are deeply grateful for Giving Tuesday donations from several students, board members, staff and donors.

DID YOU KNOW: Camp is completely free for every camper, but it costs the organization over $750,000 each summer, or $2,500 per camper for a week of meals, snacks, lodging and 12+ hours of camp activities each day.

This year, our goal is to raise as many camperships for the 2026 Summer Camp Sessions as possible! You can give your gift of campership here: https://bit.ly/4oulaEM

Every gift makes a difference, no matter the amount. You’re helping blind and low vision campers explore, grow, and thrive in nature.

“What makes Camp so special is all the people there, working together and accepting one another for who they are with great support and with lots of love. The most meaningful thing at Camp this year was the great staff with fun personalities who were willing to help” says camper Ken Rossi.

“If I could tell a friend to come to camp next year, I would tell them it’s a fun place and you’ll be able to try new things and find a very loving community that will be in your heart forever.”

Enchanted Hills is more than a camp; it’s an experience, a feeling, and a community that lasts a lifetime.
