Calling all BVI Bay Area folks ages 18 and older! The LightHouse Accessible User Experience (AUX) team is supporting an upcoming user testing study to provide feedback on an accessible voting kiosk technology from a company called VotingWorks. We are seeking at least 16 members of our blind and low vision community who are interested to participate in this PAID in-person 30-minute user study at the LightHouse HQ next week on April 30 and May 1.

LightHouse is excited to share that "Joybubbles" is coming to the Bay Area this month. On the heels of Sundance, SXSW, Big Sky and more, this documentary will have its California premiere at this year's San Francisco International Film Festival! 🎞️🍿

Tickets are now on sale for $20and are selling fast! The film will be shown with open audio description and open captions to provide the most accessible experience to the most people possible.

Our Little Learners Community had an amazing afternoon at the Spring Celebration last Saturday! Over 30 families joined us for flower planting, egg decorating, playing with bubbles and sensory toys, and our main event, the Beeper Egg Hunt! 🥚🧺👨‍🦯‍➡️👩‍🦼‍➡️

Special thanks to Marissa Gonzalez, President of We C Hope USA, for her Beeper Egg Hunt event sponsorship donation in honor of World Eye Cancer Hope ! We are grateful for her event sponsorship of our Beeper Egg Hunt events since 2023!
