This is Ryan. Ryan is my right hand man. He’s been with me for about 10 years and he has had an exceptional surgical career starting in the army as a surgical tech in combat in Iraq. Back in the States he has worked extensively in cardiac and neurosurgery. And if all of this wasn’t enough, he went back to school and is now an OR nurse and surgical first assist. His breadth of experience and knowledge of all aspects of the operating room is truly exceptional and unique, and he is a kind compassionate dedicated person as well.

It’s important to have a conversation with your provider about your skincare regimens before surgery. I suggest stopping all active ingredients about 2 weeks prior to surgery. It strengthens the skin, and optimizes it for recovery.

3 reasons you might not be a good candidate for surgery 👇

1. Unrealistic expectations. Everyone has a unique anatomy, and that has to be taken into account when we consider what kind of results we’re able to achieve. You have to be realistic about what to expect, and I have to be able deliver that expectation.

2. Health and Physical Condition. If you have medical conditions that preclude a safe procedure, or if you’re not at your physical best.

3. Emotional mindset. If it’s a time in your life where there is a lot of turmoil, ,or a lot of emotional distress. You might not be at your best to make the wisest decisions for yourself.

How important skin health before surgery? It’s best to stop using all active ingredients a couple w**d before surgery. This strengthens the skin, and helps it recover faster afterwards.

I don’t post that many pictures because my patients tend to be private. So when I get a great result that I can share, I am so grateful for the opportunity and so thrilled to be able to show you what’s possible.

This is an example of a very common sequence of surgeries in my practice. This lovely woman underwent an upper and lower lid blepharoplasty and micronized facial fat grafting to achieve this lovely rejuvenation. We are so thrilled for her!
So natural and so youthful. 👁️
