Theresa Garcia, CAMTC Somatic Therapist
practices Rosen Method Bodywork and Movement based on human anatomy and how the body is meant to function. Using sensitive, respectful, and transformative touch, she helps clients connect to, and come to terms with, the unconscious attitudes and beliefs held in chronic muscle tension. Relaxation, awareness and ease often resolve physical and emotional pain, and reawaken the innate integrity, aliveness, and balance of the body/mind. I've been a Rosen Method movement teacher since 1998, and a Rosen Method bodywork practitioner since 2000. Prior to being in business for myself, I was in the corporate world as a systems analyst for 18 years. I went into business for myself because I was amazed and delighted by the profound impact Rosen Method had on my life and I wanted to share that with others. I love my business because I love encouraging my students and clients to feel themselves from the inside, underneath whatever ideas they have about themselves. I love the exploration, the vulnerability, the journeying into the unknown and unconscious. And, all of this is through the body, with incredibly simple touch and movement. I love it when my students and clients connect their mind and body, and appreciate the immense discoveries available within their own skins.

UNA EXPERIENCIA DEL CONTACTO ROSEN, en línea.

En el Método Rosen, algo tan simple y cotidiano como “tocar” se vuelve un camino de descubrimientos y de conexión; su naturalidad está llena de sabiduría y su respeto toca profundidades. ¿Cómo sucede, en qué consiste?

Para vivirlo te invitamos al Taller de Introducción al Contacto Rosen con Gloria Hassellund, Maestra Senior con 40 años de experiencia en la práctica del Método y en la Enseñanza del mismo. Ella, estará acompañada por Theresa García nuestra Directora de Enseñanza de la Escuela Rosen en México y de Lourdes Nicolau, fundadora de la Escuela en México y Maestra de Movimiento Rosen.

ALIGERANDO RODILLAS Y CODOS.

¿Cómo sientes estas dos articulaciones en tu cuerpo? ¿Están flexibles, lubricadas, sueltas? ¿se sienten rígidas, tensas y oxidadas?.
Estas articulaciones se encuentran en la mitad de tus extremidades superiores e inferiores y la mayoría de las veces no las tomamos en cuenta hasta que se lastiman y duelen. Entonces valoramos lo importante que son para la flexibilidad y amplitud del movimiento de brazos y piernas.
¿Porque será que para rechazar o defendernos estiramos los brazos y endurecemos los codos? ¿porqué será que para afirmarnos en una idea endurecemos las rodillas?¿porque cuesta trabajo arrodillarnos?
Es asombroso cómo el cuerpo expresa nuestra manera de estar y transitar por el mundo; refleja nuestro estado interno, nos lo hace visible.
En nuestro Taller de Anatomía Vivencial exploramos las posibilidades que tienen estas articulaciones y la manera como las vivimos.
