Wayne has a way of keeping things light — always finding the humor, always bringing the good energy. Even after everything he’s been through, he hasn’t let it change who he is. His outlook is a reminder that resilience and positivity can go hand in hand — and that a little laughter can go a long way.

Masoud’s story is one of resilience, strength, and determination. After surviving a devastating fire years ago, he’s gone on to become an avid marathon runner.

He lives with severe burn injuries, the loss of his left arm, limited function in his right hand, and vision loss—yet continues to push forward. Today, he is one of only two people in the world with the 𝗲𝗢𝗣𝗥𝗔™ system in the upper limb, and also has an osseointegrated ocular prosthesis.

For years, Masoud has been working toward completing all six World Marathon Majors—with just one left: the 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻.

With support from 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 at 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹, he’s taking that final step today.
