๐ฅโจ What a wonderful afternoon at our Meet the Chef event! Residents enjoyed a delightful spread of Southern comfort seasonal bites and perfectly paired sips, all while tapping their toes to live Bluegrass music by the Will Padgett Trio. ๐ถ๐ด๐ฅ
Weโre thrilled to introduce Chef Bret Hall, whose talent and passion shine through every dish. ๐จโ๐ณ๐ซ
๐ Originally from Eastern Kentucky, Chef Bret Hall moved to Lexington in 2005 and has built a distinguished career spanning more than 15 years in the culinary industry. He most recently served as Director of Food and Beverage for Tandem Hospitality Group, where he opened the restaurant at Origin Hotel Lexington at the Summit at Fritz Farm as Executive Chef. His success there led to a corporate leadership role, overseeing the food and beverage operations for 10 hotel restaurants nationwide.
Prior to his time at Tandem, Chef Bret spent a decade with Bluegrass Hospitality Group, beginning as Executive Chef at Maloneโs Tates Creek location before advancing to lead the companyโs private dining and events division. In June 2025, Chef Bret joined The Lafayette where he continues to share his passion for thoughtful, seasonal cuisine. Heโs especially inspired by the residents and their stories and values the strong sense of community that defines The Lafayette experience. โค๏ธ
