What a beautiful evening at the Epiphany Alumni Reunion!
We were honored to welcome our beloved alumni back home to Epiphany Center, where familiar faces, warm hugs, and joyful reunions filled the room with love and gratitude. The night was full of laughter, encouragement, and heartfelt conversations as women reconnected, shared milestones, and celebrated the strength of their journeys.
A truly special moment of the evening was the remembrance of Sister Fran, who passed away this August. Alumni who were blessed to know her shared stories and memories — each one a testament to her compassion, faith, and the countless lives she touched. Her spirit was deeply felt, and her legacy continues to live on in the hearts of our community.
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us — including our inspiring alumni speakers, dedicated staff, and our Adult Services team led by Sister Betty and Carla Graham, who continue to carry the mission forward with grace and love. Our heartfelt thanks to Chef Crystal for preparing, as always, a delicious meal enjoyed by all.
Thank you, alumni, for your courage, your presence, and the hope you bring to others walking their path of recovery.

We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Did you know that a baby needs 2,500 to 3,000 diapers a year?

We are deeply grateful to the Church of the Visitacion Parish community for the large donation of diapers, wipes, and funds to support our families in need. Your generosity helps us keep our babies clean, dry, and comfortable. Your kindness makes a real difference! We thank Steve Rouse and Glenn Lobo and Knights of Columbus Council 12683 for orchestrating yet another drive for Epiphany children! Thank you for showing what compassion and community truly look like.

Recovery Is Possible — Keeping Families Together

Addiction affects not just individuals but entire families. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), more than 20 million Americans struggle with a substance use disorder — and nearly 1 in 8 children live in a home where a parent needs treatment.
At Epiphany Center, our holistic programs provide residential treatment for mothers; compassionate support for families to heal together and stay together. Our mothers rebuild trust, strengthen bonds with their child, and learn skills needed to create stable and nurturing homes.

Behind every healing story at Epiphany Center is a team member who helps to make it possible......Dr. Linda Perez is one amazing team member........

“I love working with the infants and their parents, especially now as we know so much more than when I began working in the field over 40 years ago. I’m lucky to have witnessed the recognition of the importance of developmental understanding and treatment as a key to fostering infant health,” says Dr. Perez. help.”

Last June marked Dr. Linda Perez’s 35th year working with the families at Epiphany Center. “I had been pursuing my post doctorate at Harvard and Stanford, working with high-risk neonatal babies, so I volunteered at Epiphany and was later hired,” she recalls. Asked what she attributes her long career caring for Epiphany’s at-risk families to, she says, “Compassion. The commitment to compassion at Epiphany Center is palpable when you walk in the door. I feel fortunate to be part of it. The staff have created a unique sense of protection for the women here.”

A licensed clinical psychologist, she oversees Epiphany Center’s Family Treatment Center where children experiencing stress due to disruption of family unity, reunification, or other traumatic situations are treated.

We are profoundly grateful for Dr. Perez’s leadership, compassion, and vision in shaping a place of healing and hope for our families.

THANK YOU ST. VINCENT de PAUL SCHOOL

Once again, the students, families, and parish community of St. Vincent de Paul School and St. Vincent de Paul Church have blessed the Epiphany Center with an extraordinary donation of diapers and wipes!
This isn’t the first time the SVdP community has stepped up for our families, and each time your generosity makes an incredible difference. Diapers and wipes are one of our biggest ongoing needs—and with our new infant/toddler center opening this fall, that need will double.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being such a vital part of our community of care.
