This is the team behind our 2026 Senior Oral Health Summit, a landmark symposium in Washington DC, that brough100 national leaders together to examine the oral health crisis facing America's older adults.

The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation is addressing this crisis through the Senior Oral Health Partnership Program — a $20 million, multi-year initiative across four regional innovation "labs": Washington, D.C.; the Mississippi Delta; Santa Cruz County, CA; and San Diego County, CA. Each community controls its own $5 million, five-year investment, reflecting the Foundation's commitment to community-led decision-making and power-shifting philanthropy. The program integrates direct clinical care, workforce development, community outreach, and policy advocacy.

Through this and other philanthropic programs, the Foundation's goal is to reach one million older adults by 2030.

Earth Day in action. 🌎 Jasmine, Customer Advocate in General Commercial Operations, spent her morning at the American River Parkway in Sacramento removing invasive Bamboo and Spanish Broom to help native plants reclaim their space. Three hours, a lot of pulled roots, and a cleaner stretch of river.

Dr. Clarke Allen recently highlighted an important issue affecting many older adults across rural communities: access to oral health care. 🦷✨

In her op-ed, she shared how barriers such as transportation, cost, and limited provider access often prevent seniors from receiving routine dental care.

Alongside our partners at the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation, this work helped expand education, preventive services, and dental support for older adults in underserved communities through the Senior Oral Health Partnership Program.

Thank you to our partners who are helping us improve access to care and address real health needs in the communities we serve.

Although Dr. Allen is no longer with Delta Health Center; we at DHC wish her the very best in her future endeavors. 💙

Last month, our People Org volunteers got to work assembling 1,584 dental kits for the Southside Coalition of Community Health Centers in South Los Angeles.

The Southside Coalition operates across 45+ community and school-based clinics and serves nearly 250,000 residents each year, making it the largest community clinic safety net in the region. We are glad these kits will go directly to the people and families they serve.
