FELDENKRAIS ON ZOOM!
Tonight!
WEDNESDAYS @ 6pm:
https://us04web.zoom.us/j/391441288
“WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY JAW?”
We’ll focus on the jaw and tongue and explore how strain in these areas can affect movement in other parts of us—and vice versa. These Wednesday evening classes are quiet ones and are a helpful way to transition from the busy day back to yourself and to a more settled evening.
Tomorrow!
THURSDAYS @ 12pm (register at least 20 min. before for ease) via ODC: http://odc.dance/schedule
“WHAT IS FELDENKRAIS?” OR “A SMORGASBORD”
Each Awareness Through Movement lesson in this noon class will be from the smorgasbord of Feldenkrais lessons available to us. Each lesson will throw light on the question: What is the Feldenkrais Method? For people new to the method, for those who know it well, and everyone in between!
SATURDAYS @ 10am: https://us04web.zoom.us/j/168888788
“THE QUARANTINE CORE”
In these classes we’ll explore how we use the abdomen—the middle, the core—within each lesson.
One day in class someone jokingly referred to her "quarantine core," (as in, “what has become of my core during quarantine?”). We had an impromptu discussion about how, in the Feldenkrais Method, we also think about “the core”—the middle, the abdominal muscles. As with all movement in Feldenkrais, we look at everything, including "the core," in relation to our whole selves and in relation to how we use our selves to be able to do what we want.
