We’ve turned the corner and the light is returning ~ but it may not feel that way in your nervous system. You might be wondering, when is my light going to come back?
Here we are on the other side of the Winter Solstice, and the days are getting longer again. Still, many of us feel stuck in the darkness ~ worn down, overstimulated or exhausted. When the body hasn’t “caught up” to the shift happening around us, it can feel confusing or discouraging ~ like we’re doing something wrong.
We’re not.
The nervous system needs time, gentleness and support to find a sense of lightness again.
That’s why I created Beyond Burnout.
Starting in January, this creative stress-relief workshop offers a kind, body-aware way to slow down and reconnect with yourself through guided art journaling, poetry and simple self-compassion practices. No art experience needed ~ just a willingness to meet yourself where you are.
