From intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF) to egg freezing and genetic testing of embryos, the Pacific Fertility Center (PFC) provides an extensive array of cutting-edge infertility services for patients through its infertility clinic and Pacific Fertility Egg Bank. Internationally renown for extensive clinical experience, outstanding academic credentials, and research contributions, Pacific Fertility Center physicians have performed IVF longer than any other infertility clinic in the Bay Area—from Oakland to San Francisco and from Palo Alto to Marin County. With one of the largest egg donor programs in the nation, PFC has also used highly innovative technology for egg freezing since its inception in 2007 and created the first freestanding egg bank in Northern California in 2012. Located in San Francisco, the Pacific Fertility Center is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, offering flexible hours to accommodate each patient's individual needs.

📢 Big news for fertility care in California!

Fertility insurance coverage is now LIVE in California thanks to SB 729 - a major step forward for access to fertility care.

This law now requires many large-group health plans (100+ employees) to cover fertility diagnosis and treatment, including IVF.

That may include:
🥚 Up to 3 completed egg retrievals
🧬 Unlimited embryo transfers
❤️ Inclusive coverage for LGBTQ+ individuals & single parents
💸 Meaningful financial relief for patients

Coverage may be live, but timing still matters.
⏳ Insurance approvals, lab work, testing, and consents can take time, and age and diagnosis can impact success rates.

🩺 Dr. Monseur is a board-certified OB-GYN and reproductive endocrinologist, and a nationally recognized leader in LGBTQ+ family building, reproductive justice, and health equity.

🎓 They completed fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Stanford University School of Medicine and bring extensive clinical, academic, and research experience to their work.
