Feed your hormones before you caffeinate your brain🍳☕️

It sounds simple, but your cervical mucus is incredibly sensitive to your morning routine. If you’re starting your day with a cortisol spike (aka black coffee on an empty stomach), you’re essentially telling your body to stay in "survival mode."

Fertile CM requires a rise in estrogen. If your stress hormones are running the show, your estrogen might take a backseat, leading to a "dry" or confusing cycle.

Try this for breakfast for the rest of the week.
Focus on:
✨ High protein (eggs, Greek yogurt)
✨ Healthy fats (avocado, nuts)
✨ Hydration + Minerals (add a squeeze of lemon and sea salt to your water)

Then, check your kegg data. You might be surprised at how much "clearer" your fertile window looks when your body feels safe and fueled. 📈✨

Trying to conceive can be undoubtedly very difficult and stress-inducing. 💙

If you’re struggling while TTC, here are a few things that you can do to help relieve some of that stress:

1. Join a support group 🥰
Couples who are struggling with trying to conceive can oftentimes feel isolated. It may seem that all your friends and family around you are getting pregnant, while you are the only one struggling. This is when support groups can be a great tool for help!

2. Prioritize self-care 💆‍♀️
Self-care can mean a number of things for different people. This could mean taking a spa day to yourself, hanging out with friends, journaling, etc. At the end of the day, taking care of yourself and your mental well-being is the most important.

3. Practice relaxation techniques 🛀
Dropping into a yoga class or trying to mediate can both be ways for you to relax your mind and body.

4. Take a break ❣️
This is a little reminder for you to remember that it’s OK to take a break from TTC if you need to.

S***m are fragile. Without the alkaline, nutrient-rich environment of fertile cervical mucus, they simply can't survive the journey.

kegg helps you identify exactly when s***m can best survive by sensing the shifts in your mucus in real-time.

When you know your mucus is "high-quality," you know the s***m has a fighting chance to wait for the egg, sometimes for up to 5 days! 🏃‍♂️💨

Most people track when they have cervical mucus, but are you tracking the quality? 🧬

Your CM is the "transportation system" for s***m. Without the right consistency and pH, the journey ends before it even begins. The good news? Your body is incredibly responsive to lifestyle shifts.

By focusing on these 4 pillars, you aren't just "trying"; you're optimizing the environment for a successful TWW (Two-Week Wait).

Which one will you start paying more attention to today?❤️

Without enough water, your cervical mucus may remain thick and "hostile," making it nearly impossible for s***m to swim through to the cervix meet the egg. 🥚💧

Our story

When women understand what is going on with their own bodies, they can take their health into their own hands. Our vision at kegg is to equip women with a deep fertility insight to empower them to make decisions about their own reproductive health.

Kristina, the Founder, was shocked when her OB/GYN doctor told her to track her fertility by checking her vaginal fluids daily with her fingers. All she wanted was an accurate way to track her cycles naturally, but the au naturel way only left her more stressed and worried.

We live in a world where autonomous cars take over the streets and robots perform surgery and yet, women are still being told to use their fingers to access their fertile window. The only other device that measures cervical mucus, which is the golden metric for cyclical conception, is a metal probe (20 inches long) connected to a small computer with cables.

Its time technology caught up with us.
