Our TWW Survival Tips:

1️⃣ Distraction is a tool: Pick one hobby that has zero to do with TTC

2️⃣ Step away from the "Early Result" tests: Give your body time to do its thing

3️⃣ Focus on "cozy" wins: Think soft blankets, good movies, and early bedtimes

Here’s the biological reality: As we move through our 30s, our estrogen markers shift. Your fertile fluid doesn't necessarily disappear, it just stays higher up, pooled at the cervix where it's needed most. 🧬

At 35, the fertility mental load is real.

I spent years thinking that more "effort" = better results. I was the girl with the 5 AM alarms, the spreadsheets of basal body temperatures, and a bathroom drawer that looked like a plastic graveyard of ovulation tests.

But here is the one thing I finally stopped doing: I stopped waiting for a peak.

Most of us are taught to wait for that dark line on an LH strip. But science tells us that by the time your LH surges, your fertile window is already slamming shut. At 35, we need all the lead time we can get, not a 24-hour warning.

I traded the peak I get with LH strips for kegg’s fertile window predictions.

Now, my morning routine is just 2 minutes of sensing my cervical mucus while my coffee brews. No more squinting at lines. No more "Day 14" anxiety. Just objective data that tells me exactly when the to time in*******se LONG before a plastic stick ever could.

Here are 5 myths costing you precious time:

1. The "Fertility Cliff" Myth
You didn’t "expire" at midnight on your 35th birthday. The idea of a vertical drop-off is one of the biggest anxiety-inducers in women's health. While egg quantity shifts, fertility is a gentle slope, not a cliff. At 35, you don't need a miracle; you just need precision.

2. The "Day 14" Delusion
If you are only "trying" on Day 14 because an app from 2012 told you to, you’re likely missing your real window. Only 13% of women actually ovulate on Day 14. Your cycle is a living ecosystem that responds to stress, sleep, and travel. Following a textbook average is the fastest way to miss your unique fertile window.

3. The "Wait for the Peak" Trap
Waiting for a positive LH test to have s*x is like showing up to a party when the DJ is playing the last song… By the time you see that dark line, the window is already slamming shut. You need a 5-day lead time so the "swimmers" are already in position before the egg arrives.

4. The "Dry" Means "Done" Myth
"I don't see stretchy egg-white mucus anymore, so I must not be fertile." FALSE. As we move into our mid-30s, cervical mucus often stays tucked deep at the cervix. You won’t see it on a tissue, but the water content levels are still shifting internally. kegg senses the chemistry you can't see in the mirror.

5. The "Just Relax" Gaslight
Telling a woman with a career and a goal to "just stop thinking about it" is the ultimate myth. Stress doesn't cause infertility, but guessing causes stress. You don’t need to "relax,” you need clarity. Data is the only thing that actually lowers the TTC mental load.

The 5 reasons this 2-minute morning habit changed everything:

1. I broke up with the "5 AM Drill Sergeant" ⏰
I used to live by the BBT rule: don’t move, don’t speak, don’t even breathe until you’ve shoved a thermometer in your mouth. If I woke up to p*e at 4 AM, my data for the day was ruined. Now? I wake up when I want. I spend 2 minutes sensing my electrolytes while my coffee brews. No alarms, no stress, just actual sleep.

2. No more "Squinting" at plastic sticks in the dark 💡
I spent thousands (literally) on LH strips, only to spend my lunch breaks googling "Is this line darker than yesterday?" or "Does a faint line mean I missed it?" It was manual labor. kegg gives me an objective, medical-grade reading synced straight to my phone. No more guessing games or plastic waste.

3. I found my "Fertile Valley" (Not a Day 14 Ghost) 📉
The apps told me I was a "Day 14 girl." My body disagreed. By the time I saw a "Peak" on a stick, my window was already slamming shut.

Our story

When women understand what is going on with their own bodies, they can take their health into their own hands. Our vision at kegg is to equip women with a deep fertility insight to empower them to make decisions about their own reproductive health.

Kristina, the Founder, was shocked when her OB/GYN doctor told her to track her fertility by checking her vaginal fluids daily with her fingers. All she wanted was an accurate way to track her cycles naturally, but the au naturel way only left her more stressed and worried.

We live in a world where autonomous cars take over the streets and robots perform surgery and yet, women are still being told to use their fingers to access their fertile window. The only other device that measures cervical mucus, which is the golden metric for cyclical conception, is a metal probe (20 inches long) connected to a small computer with cables.

Its time technology caught up with us.
