Most people think that having good posture is hard. 🥹
But no two-year old complains about back pain or shoulder tension.
The truth is that our collective idea of "good posture" is already flawed.
If "good" means "right", then I want you to know that there is no such thing as "right posture".
Why?
Because your body doesn't care about right or wrong. It only cares about --> SUPPLYING YOU THE FREEDOM AND SUPPORT THAT WILL KEEP YOU ALIVE, SAFE, AND MOVING. ✨
How free can you be, as the embodied self that you are, when you respond to gravity, to breath, to life itself?
⚠️ Trying to control your posture means you're disconnecting from your natural support, from the actual foundation of physical freedom and ease.
⚠️ It means you're overriding the subtle but intelligent coordination that keeps you balanced, mobile, and expressive.
Trying to sit, stand or walk taller by force brings more tension, not freedom. And it can hurt.
Ease is only possible when you stop interfering with the design that’s already built for it.
If you’ve been trying to “sit straight” or “stand tall” and still feel compressed or tense, this is your sign that your body doesn’t need more effort. It needs awareness.
