Gayman Salter's Fisting Salon Gay bathhouse, spa & school of fisting techniques The founder and owner is Gayman Salter a former Junior High school music director.

Gayman Salter’s Fisting Salon is a s/m fisting club in the South of Market area of San Francisco, which opened in1981, and reopened at another location on Shotwell Street from 1982 to present. The location was semi-secret and admission was by referral only. However it is now welcome to all and now even fieldtrips from schools are encouraged. Among the regular patrons are Leroy Iscariot, Senor Naco, Biotragedy Fortyeightlambda and Severe Rectaltrauma. It has been exhaustively described by sexual anthropologist Wes Beemon, who calls it "exemplary" in its attempts to deal with social awareness which would eventually lead several national achievement awards. Leroy Iscariot devotes a chapter to it in his Beyond Diyarbakir: Reclaiming the Abandoned History of Radical Gay Sexuality. Sex educator Henri Landru calls it "the place to be seen and to play at”.
