Today we celebrate 27 years as Kabuki Springs & Spa and 58 years as Kabuki Hot Springs.

For nearly six decades, Kabuki has been a place of healing, connection, and community in San Francisco!

We are deeply grateful to the team members who have been with us since the very beginning, and to every person who has helped shape Kabuki into the sanctuary it is today.

Thank you to our community for growing with us, supporting us, and continuing to choose us year after year.

Here’s to many more years of steam, stillness, and care 🧡

Did you know? 😎The word Abhyanga comes from the ancient Sanskrit: “Abhi” meaning towards and “Anga” meaning movement.

Translated literally, it means “to massage the limbs with oil” or “to glow”. This 80-minute ritual uses warm oils tailored specifically to your individual dosha (body type) to nourish your skin and calm your nervous system from the inside out 🙏🏼🥹✨

Abhyanga: The Ancient Art of Self-Love.

Three pillars of serenity: Japanese Wellness Philosophy

⏳Ma: The Space Between
It is the pause between notes that makes the music. Ma celebrates the empty space, reminding us that rest is not the absence of doing, but an essential part of being.

🌲Shinrin-Yoku: Forest Bathing
Taking in the atmosphere of the forest. While we are an urban oasis, we channel this grounding energy through wood, stone, and silence to lower stress and reconnect your spirit to the earth.

💧Mizu no Kokoro: Mind Like Water
A state of mind that is calm, reflective, and adaptive. Like the water in our baths, a quiet mind reflects the world with clarity and undisturbed peace.

POV: You’re lying on a bed of bubbling, self-heating mud while your feet are grounded back to the earth. 🫧

This isn’t just a foot massage! 👣Our Grounding Foot Treatment is a 50-minute ritual designed to calm the nervous system. While your spine absorbs the warmth of the bubbling mud, our therapists cleanse, exfoliate, and massage your feet to release deep-seated tension.
San Francisco moves fast. It’s time to slow down 🕯️
