β‡Ύ I finished a big test last week & after it was over it made me realize I want to take a step back & stop worrying so dang much (I know..easier said than done!!😝). This will sound pretty cosmic, but we are only on this beautiful planet for a short amount of time! So how do I want to spend it? Do I explore the world? Enjoy the people and relationships in my life? Expand my brain and use that knowledge to help others? β‡ΎWhen it comes to living a balanced and happy life, giving myself permission to unplug & recharge es muy IM-POR-TAN-TEπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ’†πŸΌ Especially for those of us who fit the category of a HSP (highly sensitive person). I have to admit it's hard for me to "let myself off the hook" and indulge in a little R&R😬 It's always been easier for me to push further than to pull back. Ya feel???!! Pink pitaya powder or blue spirulina are my go to food colorings!!🌈 No artificial yucko needed!! Instead of being the observer, being non-judgmental of the experience & allowing it to simply "BE"...I've been reactive and trying my damnedest to avoid, avoid, avoidπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜¬~ HEEEEELLO procrastination & late nights!!

β‡ΎWhen talking to Bae, he intuitively told me it's okay to feel the way I do bc I'm growing✨ He said that whether I'm open to it or not, this semester is challenging me and forcing me to grow beyond my current limits. And to put it simply, sometimes growth hurts (hence growing painsπŸ˜†).

The reality is that each and every one of us has both femininity AND masculinity at all times.

I have to admit I still picture the life I want and the happiness it will bring as if certain things have to happen and I have to look a certain way to get there. I also have to admit it's a form of negative motivation and self punishment for not being where I want to be. Can you relate or is it just me??? Lol.

β‡ΎCurcumin is the active phenolic ingredient in Turmeric and the science shows it actively changes the expression of genes involved in cholesterol synthesis😲 It actively decreases the "bad" LDL cholesterol and increases the good "HDL" cholesterol. Soooooo, if high cholesterol, high blood pressure or cardio vascular diseases run in your family, turmeric will be your best friend!!! (Just beware of nice clothes, furniture, etc!!! β‡ΎMatcha is green tea thats been shaded for the last 20-30 days before being ground into powder~ this increases the production of amino acids and chlorophyll while using the entire leaf increases its antioxidant properties! β‡ΎThis is great for those of us who are crazy busy~ like me with my new semester that has already given me a stress cold soreπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜« I literally don't have time to get to all fancy pants in the kitchen! I rely on planning a few easy meals and snacks to get through the weekπŸ‘πŸ» Not only does it make sure I'm eating at regular intervals, but it keeps my hunger hormones at bay! THIS IS KEY MY LOVES!! If you let your hunger rise and blood sugar drop into a hypoglycemic state, the body signals cravings for food that can quickly turn into energy, aka glucose! Over time, high sugar consumption correlates to insulin resistance which can contribute to weight gain, infertility, diabetes and cardio vascular disease to name a few. β‡ΎIn honor of this glorious day, my monthly gift decided to pay me a visit...it literally woke me up at the crack of dawn so I'd get to enjoy every minuteπŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜΄ Only recently did I realize that my period is a gift and a signal that my body trusts me and is working in harmony with me. Many ED sufferers and those with female athlete triad don't have the luxury of getting a period. My period was pushed out due to my intense gymnastics training and many of my friends suffered irregular periods or completely skipped cycles. As strong athletes, working women, mothers, care givers, etc., we take on the weight of the world at times πŸŒŽπŸ™‡πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ It's important for me to continuously balance my internal & societal masculinity with femininity. Sometimes we don't need to push so hard, get everything done, and be so dang rigid~ we can just flow (no pun intendedπŸ˜†). It's a hard concept for many, but it's a frame of mind✨ I encourage you to practice patience, ease, and truly listening and connecting with those around you today~ let me know how it goes!!πŸ‘±πŸΌβ€β™€οΈβœŒπŸ»
