Young athletes today have traded the varied, organic movement of childhood for a cycle of sitting and specialization. Instead of climbing, crawling, and jumping, their day is split between the "sedentary mold" of school and screens and the repetitive movement patterns of early sports specialization.

Wrist and elbow pain is typically just the final stop in a long chain reaction that often starts with seemingly small imbalances in your posture and movement that throw your entire body out of alignment.

When your foundation is off, other areas are forced to compensate, and that's when your wrists and elbows (the "messengers") start sending pain signals. You can stretch or brace them, but you're only silencing the messenger, not fixing the source.
