AAC learners need a reason to communicate with AAC instead of behaviors. Learn strategies to acknowledge, respond to, and entice children to communicate with AAC. This is class 3 of a 4-part parent AAC parent training series based on Kate Ahern’s Motivate, Model, and Move out of the Way AAC implementation framework. Though focused on families, this training is also helpful for anyone working with AAC learners, to help them better understand and support AAC communication.

Featured Speaker: Jen McDonald-Peltier from the Center for Accessible Technology.
