I ended 2025 with a gift to myself. My son had gone back to school and I chose to reserve a place to stay by the ocean, to have a solo writing retreat. I said no to parties and people and yes to myself for deep reflection and inspired action.

I have always been good at finding wonderful homes and hotels around the world in my travels to stay. Yet it has most often been for myself and others (partners & friends). This one was solely for me. The moment I booked it, there was an immediate jolt of excitement like a feedback loop reward of caring for myself. And many other small gifts along the way, including my neighbor in a wetsuit inviting me to dive in with him (haven’t said yes yet…).

Tucked in a tiny community by the ocean I have been writing, having a few people come for short visits and following the thread of my creative thoughts.

My intuition book is taking shape and some exciting imagery started coming to me, as well as a new title inspired by a conversation.

I welcome submissions of intuitive stories you would like to share with me as anecdotes for my book. We learn through each other’s examples of brave steps in listening deeply to our intuition and also in the times when we ignore it and learn from it.

In exciting news, my son Jonah is very close to graduating with his Psychology degree and will be going to Grad School in the future.

We have been collaborating on some of my business needs including a summary of EMDR to send to prospective clients who want to learn more about how I work with it. I have been amazed at the synergy and ease of working together. He brings an intellectual and structural ability that compliments my flow nature. So much fun. 🤩 💫

Intuition isn’t about predicting the future.
It’s about aligning with what’s true right now.
So much of our suffering comes from trying to force timelines, outcomes, or clarity before they’re ready. But authentic alignment lives in the present moment, not in the stories our fear imagines or the plans our mind tries to control.

Divine timing isn’t a cosmic schedule out there somewhere. It’s the deep surrender into this moment…the willingness to pause, listen, feel, and follow the next true step.

When we soften our grip, we begin to sense what’s actually unfolding beneath the noise.

A quiet pull.
A subtle “yes.”
A gentle boundary.
A truth we can finally hear.

This is where intuition lives, in the body, the breath, the now. And from that place, the path always reveals itself.

Trust the timing that arises when you are aligned with yourself. Trust the clarity that comes when you stop pushing. Trust that what’s meant for you won’t require force, only presence.

You don’t need to make anything happen.
You only need to be here for what is.

What an incredible evening Singh Elizabeth Gilbert speak hosted by CIIS my graduate school! After deeply listening to her book, and then hearing her interviewed, she is incredibly honest in her humility and teaching. Feeling incredibly inspired, especially in my writing process to be transparent and real. One of the most profound statements I heard in graduate school was that they deeper the vulnerability the more universal the issue. The more depth we can share we connect with one another in community and our 💕 hearts expand 🌈. There were other incredible Intuitive clues leading to people we ran into in perfect timing and alignment that could not have been planned. Feeling blessed. Two therapists night on the town 🥰🙏🏻

In The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy spends her journey searching for a way home, only to discover she carried the power to return all along.

The ruby slippers were never about escape,
they were about remembrance. That she carried the power to return 🏡 to herself anytime.

In an intuitive reading exchange today,
the ruby slippers came up for me as a message, a reminder that everything I need is already within me, and that I can trust my current life unfoldings as they take shape in their own time.

Later that evening, I met with my colleague
Dr. Susanne Babbel and noticed she was wearing red slippers. Without realizing why, I had changed into red sandals in the car before coming into the restaurant.

These small intuitive clues often arrive as gentle affirmations that we’re aligned with our inner truth.

✨ An Intuitive Invitation ✨and 👋🏼 from Amsterdam

I’ve been quietly developing something close to my heart…a new way to live more intuitively, more creatively, and more in sync with the magic of everyday life.

This is an experiment, a community, a movement, and it begins with a small group of people who feel called to live life as a treasure hunt.

🌀 I’ve created a simple app to help us track intuitive clues, practice trusting our inner knowing, and clear the clutter that gets in the way. This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present, playful, and aware of the nudges that life gives us every day.

🌱 I’m gathering the first 10 participants to join this soft launch. Rolling admission based on resonance. Start date is TBD. It will begin when the right constellation of people magnetize together. You’ll know if it’s you.

This is for those who want to:

Spreading the love with my friends in community in travel 🥰. I asked for a secret message to be written on my arm and this what I got. On some level this has been a lifelong quest with both meanings intrinsic. Paying attention to intuitive clues requires me to keep stepping back into a place of innocence and not knowing again and again. In my neutrality I can really decider what is a clue from my own conditioned mind of control and strategy. After receiving this directive I walked to the counter and asked the server for a piece of wisdom from his life he could share with me. He said I am an artist. I am a rapper and a painter and I do it every day. I walked away with this in gratitude. I am also an artist of life… unfolding in real time. Lisbon is beautiful!

Here she is, the Little Mermaid, perched quietly at the edge of the sea. This is a famous sculpture in Copenhagen I saw yesterday, that inspired the Disney movie. While I love the movie, it’s not a fairytale to me anymore. I see a symbol of what so many of us do: give up parts of ourselves in hopes of being loved, chosen, or understood.

Ariel sacrifices her voice, her physical body (her fin) for a life she thinks will bring her belonging. She joins the Prince’s world rather than the prince joining hers. (I know this is just one aspect and positive aspects of individuation and claiming her truth were also evident).

As I witness the rising tide of voices being silenced in our world politically, socially, even internally…I think of all the ways we are taught to shrink: to stay quiet, to please or to disappear.

From my therapeutic lens, the Little Mermaid reflects the places where we abandon ourselves for acceptance.

Ask yourself:
💫 Where am I silencing my truth?
💫 What have I given up to be “enough”?
💫 What would it look like to reclaim my voice?
