Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means circle, completion, or center. Mandalas are often seen as beautiful images with different shapes in a circle and can act as aids to create a sacred space and help focus during meditation.
Mandala Yoga is a circular flow where you move in 360 degrees around the mat from the front of the mat to the sides, to the back of the mat, and around making the shape of a mandala.
The class is creative and fun and a new way to move around the mat.
It is dynamic, and fluid to wake up the whole body and flow seamlessly through the rhythmic asanas. The movement will be connected with the breath making it a moving meditation.
