New research from at the University of Chicago in partnership with the Collaborative for Health Equity reveals:

⚠️ Serious funding instability
💡 An opportunity to enhance capacity building
🤝 A perceived gap in trust between policymakers and CBOs

The report amplifies the voices of nearly 500 CBOs working to improve health in times of uncertainty and great community need. APIAHF was proud to support this research initiative as a member of the Community Advisory Board, helping guide the development of the survey and interpret insight Thank You for Your Partnership – Health Equity Research Reports from a nonprofit perspective.

Supported by The Multicultural Health Equity Collective (The Collective), this research underscores the urgent need for action by donors, policymakers and public health leaders to help ensure CBOs can continue their critical work.
