This Veterans Day, we came together at Watermark at Almaden to pay tribute to the courageous heroes who have selflessly served our nation. Throughout the day, our community commemorated this significant occasion by honoring our veterans with a certificate and a pin, and amazing speeches from Chaplin Sy and one of our lovely residents and veteran Commander Rose.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all veterans for their enduring sacrifice and unwavering bravery. Thank you for your service!

We had such an amazing time at our Singing Showcase on October 26th here at The Watermark at Almaden! A huge thank you to Ariel Dance Productions and all the performers for making this show such a joyful and memorable event.

Special gratitude to Oanh, one of our resident's family members, whose dedication and connection to our community made this event possible. We are so thankful for you!❤️

Thank you to Emi and Sophia, students at the school for putting together the beautiful singing segment, and to Ms. Joy, advisor for Westmont High School’s Singing for Seniors Club, for supporting these talented students.

This week, our residents stepped right into the wizarding world for a Harry Potter-themed Watermark University Class! 🪄✨

Our talented residents crafted their very own wands, practiced a few “spells,” and enjoyed delicious themed snacks. The best part? Learning about our own “Hogwarts professors” — our Community Life Director, Jose, and our Maintenance Director, Wes— who both shared their love for the Harry Potter universe and brought their magical energy to the day.

Residents, families, and staff gathered outdoors at our Pumpkin Harvest Festival to enjoy hot apple cider, delicious spreads of seasonal treats like apple baked goods, potato skin nachos, pumpkin hummus, and hearty meatball sandwiches.

There were fun games with prizes, creative pumpkin decorating, and the amazing sounds of live music from TIMO that had everyone dancing. It was a perfect way to celebrate the season and spend time together as a community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Brunch is back! 🥘🍾

What better way to spend a Sunday than enjoying a delicious brunch surrounded by family, friends, and warm conversation? Our incredible kitchen team pulled out all the stops this past weekend — from made-to-order omelets and fresh oysters to a stunning charcuterie board and bubbly mimosas.

And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better... the dessert spread stole the show! 🍰🧁🍓 Decadent treats, sweet bites, and something for every sweet tooth — it was the perfect way to end a perfect meal.

It’s moments like these, filled with love and laughter, that make life at Watermark so special. We’re grateful to share them with our residents and their families! 💛

This week, our talented caregiver Maryalis and her wonderful daughter Kyra brought in their incredible bead collection and shared their creativity with our residents. Together, they led a joyful jewelry-making session filled with laughter, color, and connection. 💖

Residents had a blast designing their own beautiful bracelets and necklaces — each piece a unique expression of their own creativity. Thank you, Maryalis and Kyra, for bringing your passion and kindness to our community! 💫📿

Prost! 🍻 It's time to raise our steins and celebrate Oktoberfest at The Watermark At Almaden! We enjoyed a day filled with delicious German fare — from crispy potato pancakes and savory meatballs to house-made sauerkraut, flammkuchen, German potato salad, and creamy bacon-onion flatbread.

Residents also enjoyed lively accordion music and a fun-filled photo shoot to capture the memories.
