Gardner Health Services is honored to attend NACHC’s 2026 Policy & Issues Forum in DC alongside other health leaders from around the country. We and our community health partners meet with Rep. Ro Khanna’s Sr. Policy Aide, Rep. Sam Liccardo, Rep. Jimmy Panetta, and Rep. Zoe Lofgren to discuss long-term sustainability to meet the growing demand for health care. Together we can protect and strengthen community health centers across our districts.

We’re proud to announce the second cohort of Silicon Valley Community Foundation’s Community Advisory Council — a diverse group of leaders who will help guide our strategic direction and ensure our work reflects the lived experiences of the communities we serve.

Established in 2020, the Council plays a critical role in informing SVCF’s priorities and discretionary grantmaking. Members bring deep community knowledge and trusted relationships across County of Santa Clara and County of San Mateo, helping us elevate community-driven solutions and focus on outcomes that drive meaningful, lasting change.

At a time when federal budget cuts and policy shifts are placing increased strain on social services, their insights will be especially vital as we respond with clarity and purpose.

We’re grateful to these leaders for their partnership and commitment to strengthening Silicon Valley communities.

At Gardner Health Services, we celebrate Black History Month by recognizing the ongoing pursuit of freedom, equity, and justice—and by committing to accessible, compassionate healthcare for all.

When art and health unite, communities don’t just heal—they thrive. ✨ Yesterday, we broke ground for the next phase of the La Placita site. We are thrilled to continue this partnership with the School of Arts & Culture (SOAC) on the project—a bold vision of what’s possible when healthcare and culture are intentionally brought together.

This collaboration is fueled by innovative solutions, including a recent complex New Market Tax Credit loan that paved the way for this 28,000-square-foot facility. While Gardner provides medical, dental, chiropractic and behavioral health services in a state-of-the-art 10,000 sq. ft. clinic, SOAC is preparing to open an 18,000 sq. ft. space featuring a new black box theater and expanded social services. It’s a true nexus where creative expression and healthcare coexist to meet the community where they are.

By co-locating these resources, we are honoring cultural identity and advancing health equity in East San Jose. A huge thank you to our federal, county, and Health Trust partners for helping us create outcomes far greater than any one organization could achieve alone.
