Housing is a constant need in this area! So is NIMBY which means that people often do not want affordable and other projects in their backyards.

Yesterday, at the Cupertino City Council meeting, advocates made it clear that the Mary Avenue Villa project, an affordable housing development must move forward. Thank you to all who voiced their support! Special thanks to John for representing at the meeting and making it clear as to why housing is needed for all!

Happy Saturday! Get • When his dad walked through the door after deployment, Michael didn’t wait. A 6-year-old with cerebral palsy, told he might never walk on his own, stood up and took step after step—straight toward his father. No announcement. No buildup. Just determination and love meeting in the middle of the room.

The moment was first shared by ABC News, and what makes it unforgettable isn’t the crowd or the uniforms—it’s that Michael had been practicing in secret, saving this moment for the one person he missed most.

Moral:
Sometimes strength shows up when love calls it forward.
