Being with the breath is an eye opener.
The breath reveals all that lays beneath the surface and guides you to safely identifying what the body is feeling, holding on to and wants you to know.
π« In the exercise of conscious breathing your body naturally begins to relax, destress, release toxins, return to homeostasis, improves your respiratory and immune system, lowers blood pressure, oxidizes the body, gets you out of fight or flight zone, gets you to higher states of consciousness and improves rest and sleep. And so much more...
π« As a result of all of the above benefits, the body begins to create a healthier and clearer version of itself from a cellular, emotional, physical, spiritual and mental level.
I've personally been intrigued by breathwork for the last couple of years but it took me up until earlier this year to really begin the practice outside of my meditations (which really weren't very breath focused).
After my first experience I was flabergasted by what I felt during the session. I had no idea of the places that the breathe could take us.
π I've personally experienced beautiful tension, stress and trauma releases within my body.
π I've experienced the beauty of pure presence with my breath and beauty of stillness.
π I've experienced the challenge of being in my body and breath.
π I've experienced meeting with my galactic family.
π I've experienced receiving messages from my inner knowing, my body, my higher self, guides and ancestors.
π I've experienced a greater depth within myself.
π I've experienced states bliss and great inner peace.
I just knew that I had to learn more and bring this forward as an accessible practice for my community.
ππ½ In September, I completed my first Therapeutic Breathwork training with Jim Morningstar, Ph.D. Jim is a beautiful teacher, human, mentor and guide. I feel honored to have his knowledge, techniques, experience and resources available to me. It was important to me to learn from an experienced and masterful teacher and to be a part of a school that's partners with the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance.
And over the next couple of weeks, I'm offering an opportunity for you to experience breathwork as well!
* * * Here's what you can expect from the intro class * * *
