Most pet owners expect to spend about $8K on a dog.
In reality, lifetime care can reach $60K.đź’°

That difference impacts how clients think about emergencies, specialty recommendations, and even routine care. Nearly half of owners say unexpected expenses create financial concern in 2025.

The 2025 Pet Lifetime of Care Study shows the reality gap in expectations and why proactive conversations about cost and planning help clients make informed decisions.

Local anesthetics offer complete pain relief and are key to effective veterinary pain management. Locoregional techniques, like nerve blocks, provide fast, synergistic pain control, reduce inhalant use, and enhance recovery. These methods also meet client expectations and can boost clinic profitability. This session covers various techniques—including brachial plexus, BIER, RUM, intratesticular blocks, and epidurals—with step-by-step video demonstrations.
