This week, our community was filled with the spirit of Hanukkah! We gathered with friends and family for a special Hanukkah service and menorah lighting, enjoyed a buffet dinner with traditional foods, dressed in blue for our spirit day and themed happy hour, played dreidel, and learned about the history of the holiday in a Watermark University course!

Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the rededication of the Jewish temple after their victory over their oppressors. Hanukkah reminds us of the power of hope, and how light can overcome darkness.

Deanna didn’t think she could pick up a new hobby like cross-stitching, but she’s absolutely loving it! She’s been attending our Cross Stitch for Beginners class for the past couple of weeks and is making incredible progress. She said she can’t believe how much she’s improved in just a few sessions, and she’s excited to turn her adorable little reindeer into an ornament for her Christmas tree!🪡
