It’s a fact that Almaden Yoga has amazing instructors. One of them is Maria Ortega.

Her yoga class is moving meditation. A strong, unique hour sequence where she challenges you. Brings in a positive affirmation when you need it the most in your practice. And then ends with sound healing. To add it all, her music is truly divine.

Yes, some may find the sound healing too long. But think about it, by the time we settle into shavasana, it is over. In Maria’s class, it is about settling and then resting and soaking in the sound vibrations.

And it doesn’t hurt to be part of Maria’s pure heart and her sweet accent.

Try her Flow class, Tuesdays at 9:15 am.

ps: if the sound vibration gets to you, place your mat away from the crystal bowls.
