Next week, ARCC's clinicians will be passing out 149 gifts generously provided by Family Giving Tree (FGT) as part of their Holiday Wish Drive to bring our clients ages 0-19 some much-needed cheer. Research tells us that early experiences during the first five years of life shape the developing brain and are critical to the healthy development of young children. Alum Rock Counseling Center (ARCC)’s Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH) services form the foundation for lifelong well-being. Our team uses evidence-based approaches to provide early interventions that support a child's social-emotional skills, cognitive development, and ability to form healthy relationships and ultimately can help prevent future mental health issues, promote success in school, and improve overall quality of life for the child and family. We thank our clinicians for the caring support that they provide to many families who would otherwise not be able to access these services.

ARCC's Downtown Youth Wellness Center (DYWC) serves some of our community's most vulnerable youth ages 12-25. Many of them will not receive gifts during the holidays because their families cannot afford them…or sometimes, because they have no family.
