One of the most powerful things you can do for your nervous system is stop running from hard emotions.

I often tell women to schedule a regular “date with grief.” Not to live in it, but to let it move. When you give yourself intentional space to feel sadness, anger, or loss, you teach your brain that discomfort isn’t danger. You build resilience. You strengthen your relationship with your own emotional landscape.

Avoidance keeps stress trapped in the body. Processing releases it.

You are strong enough to feel what you feel and every time you allow it, you become more regulated, more grounded, and more whole 🙏

For too long, women’s wellness has been shaped by a “power over” model where the loudest voices at the head of the table are often the ones profiting from women feeling confused, insecure, or dependent.

And the reason that happens is simple: women are an incredibly powerful economic force.

The industry knows how valuable we are as an audience. But here’s the shift I want to see: stop handing your authority to anyone who tries to silence strong women or remove them from the conversation about their own bodies.

Real power isn’t someone else telling you what to do.

Real power is when women recognize the wisdom within themselves and support each other in rising. When we do that together, the entire system changes 🙏

For decades, women have been conditioned to believe their worth is tied to how small they are, how young they look, and how useful they remain to everyone else.

That constant self-criticism drains energy that could be used for growth, leadership, and creativity.

When you step out of diet culture and reject unrealistic standards, you reclaim that energy. You begin to see your body as an ally, your age as wisdom, and your voice as necessary.

And that’s when everything changes 🙌

Being displaced by the Palisades fire while I was writing Age Like a Girl forced me into a level of introspection I didn’t expect.

When everything familiar is stripped away, you’re left asking deeper questions. Not as a wife, not as a mother, not as a practitioner, but as a woman.

Do I actually like this habit?
Do I even enjoy these foods?
What do I want?

Menopause has a way of asking those same questions. It’s a biological invitation to stop filtering every decision through everyone else’s needs and finally choose for yourself.

That’s the heart of Age Like a Girl. It's about reclaiming your voice, your health, and your direction 🦋 https://f.mtr.cool/zgotvpzxaw

Soy doesn’t need to be feared, it needs to be understood.

When you choose whole, organic, traditionally prepared forms like tempeh or miso, you’re giving your body fiber, plant protein, and gentle phytoestrogens that can support you through hormonal shifts.

The key is quality and context.

In perimenopause and menopause especially, food can either create confusion or bring stability. When you learn how to use ingredients like soy strategically, you stop reacting to trends and start working with your biology.

That’s where real empowerment begins 💙

On International Women’s Day, I’m reminded how powerful it is when women share knowledge and build community with each other.

So much of women’s wisdom has historically been passed down through stories, books, and conversations that help us better understand ourselves and our place in the world. When we learn from each other, we grow stronger together.

A few books I believe every woman should read on her journey to deeper self-awareness and empowerment include:

• All the Way to the River: Love, Loss, and Liberation – Elizabeth Gilbert
• Women Who Run With the Wolves – Clarissa Pinkola Estés
• In a Different Voice – Carol Gilligan
• Rushing Women’s Syndrome – Dr. Libby Weaver

These are the kinds of voices that remind us we are not meant to navigate life alone. We are meant to learn, rise, and transform together 🙌

03/08/2026

If you want real transformation, you have to look beyond just food and exercise and start paying attention to your environment.

The spaces you spend time in and the people you surround yourself with either calm your nervous system or keep it stuck in stress. When you intentionally choose places that bring you joy and allow your body to relax, your biology shifts. You think clearer, your hormones regulate, and your body becomes more responsive to change.

The same is true for the people around you.

When you step into a circle of support, transformation stops feeling like a solo battle and starts becoming a shared journey.

That’s exactly what we’ve created inside The Reset Academy.

Our Fat Burner Reset starts tomorrow, and if you’re ready to step into an environment designed to help you reclaim your energy and burn fat with the support of an incredible community of women, come join us 💙 https://f.mtr.cool/ukupusfsgs

03/07/2026

We live in a time where health advice is EVERYWHERE and not all of it is safe.

One of the fastest ways to protect yourself online is to ask: Is this rigid? Does this leave room for my hormones, my age, my individuality? If someone’s advice is absolute, extreme, or leaves no space for customization, that’s a BIG red flag.

Your body is dynamic. Your life is dynamic. Real health guidance should empower you, not box you in. Listen to information that makes you feel capable, informed, and flexible - not fearful. The right advice helps you live bigger, not smaller 💙

03/07/2026

If you want to keep your brain sharp as you age, we need to talk about BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor).

Think of it as fertilizer for your brain. It helps you learn, adapt, and build new neural connections.

Here’s what many women don’t realize: as estrogen declines in perimenopause and menopause, BDNF can decline with it. That’s why strength training becomes non-negotiable.

Lifting weights doesn’t just build muscle. It stimulates BDNF, supports mood, protects cognitive function, and keeps you physically strong. As estrogen goes down, we lift.

Not just for the body you see in the mirror, but for the brain you want to keep vibrant for decades to come 🙌

One of the greatest joys of my work is the community that continues to grow around this mission: women who are ready to understand their bodies, support each other, and rise TOGETHER.

That spirit is exactly what we’ve created inside The Reset Academy, and I would love for you to join us as we begin the upcoming Fat Burner Reset (begins March 9th).

It’s a guided experience designed to help you reclaim your energy, activate fat burning, and bring your hormones back into balance all within a powerful community of women walking the path together.

We’ve also opened a limited-time offer monthly enrollment, making this the perfect moment to step in just in time for the reset. I’d love to see you there 💙 https://f.mtr.cool/mshxceajzx

Women have carried so much. The expectations, the caregiving, the quiet agreements to stay agreeable and small. And then menopause arrives, not to punish us, but to wake us up.

As hormones shift, so does our willingness to tolerate self-abandonment.

The irritability, the clarity, the “I can’t do this anymore” moments are not flaws. They’re signals. Signals that your body no longer wants to support a life built around shrinking.

This chapter isn’t about fading. It’s about reclaiming space, voice, and truth 💙
