Human Agenda believes that human beings require appropriate resources and time as well as an ethic of love to engage in the human need fulfilling activities that make our lives full, meaningful, and satisfying. Key to meeting our human needs is access to reduced working hours at a livable wage. Without a reasonable work week and reasonable time for other essential human activities like our health, our relationships, our community, our lifelong learning, our civic engagement, and our self-realization, we cannot reach peace, growth, and fulfillment for ourselves, our society, or our world.

Today’s the day to spread the word! 💬

CLARO is working toward raising $30,000 to keep our immigrant defense team fully staffed through 2026 — because no one should face deportation alone.

💪 Every share, every post, and every donation brings us closer to representation for immigrants in Santa Clara County.

Human Agenda will be participating in this year. Please spread the word and help us raise funds for our programs such as CLARO. Please help us reach our goal to raise $30,000 by December 2, 2025. Donation link in bio.

No Immigrant Should Face Deportation Alone.

This Giving Tuesday, help CLARO stay fully staffed to defend immigrants in court, train the next generation of accredited advocates, and protect our community through rapid legal response.

The Colectivo Legal Accesible Razonable y Organizado (CLARO) is a democratically run legal collective — meaning every member has an equal vote and shared voice in decision-making. Our team of 3 attorneys, 1 DOJ-accredited representative, and 3 legal assistants (working toward accreditation) provides free or low-cost legal representation to immigrant families facing deportation, asylum seekers fleeing persecution, and survivors of gender violence and trafficking. We also serve as a founding member and legal backbone of the Santa Clara County Rapid Response Network, providing emergency legal support during ICE operations and community crises. For the past five years, CLARO has maintained a perfect win rate in asylum cases based on political opinion, gender violence, and particular social group — a record that reflects our deep commitment to justice, preparation, and care.

Each $4,000 raised funds one full court representation — one person who won’t face deportation alone. Your donation doesn’t just sustain cases — it sustains people, both the families we represent and the advocates who make justice possible.

Mark your calendars for Dec 13th!

We’re bringing together two big names in the progressive movement for a night of power, strategy, and radical solidarity. Join us for an unforgettable evening with Kshama Sawant, .kshama, the socialist former city council member who shows that class struggle isn’t just a theory—it’s a winning strategy. And Angelica Salas from , a visionary leader on the frontlines of the immigrant rights movement, fighting for dignity and liberation for all. This is more than just a dinner. It’s a meeting of the minds for economic and immigrant justice. It’s where we plan our next move. It’s where we fuel the resistance.

The Solidarity and Unity Network (SUN) invites you to participate in the UN International Year of Cooperatives by better understanding a key fulcrum in the transition to a better world: worker-owned democratically-run workplaces that incorporate democracy, equity, cooperation, kindness and sustainability (the DECKS values of SUN). We can no longer support dominant institutions that are autocratic, inequitable, uncooperative, mean, and unsustainable
