Santa Clara County Dental Foundation

Santa Clara County Dental Foundation Though much has been accomplished over the years to improve the dental health of our community, the need remains great.

Formed in 2005, the Santa Clara County Dental Foundation assists groups or individuals in the local community and gives scholarships and financial aid to qualified and deserving students who will eventually serve our community as dental professionals. SCCDF has partnered with the Salvation Army and with Santa Clara County Family Court to provide services to individuals that are rehabilitating from substance abuse. In addition, the annual Give Kids A Smile screening in schools and pro-bono dental services for children (formerly called Dentist With A Heart) is run under the auspices of the Foundation. Our goal with the SCCDF is to share a leadership role with the Dental Society Board and Committees in providing manpower and financial support in providing dental care for the needy and supporting dental auxiliaries training programs in our community.
