The Root Chakra is offering an incredible internship opportunity as a Colon Hydrotherapist. This is the perfect chance for someone who is looking for a change in their career and wants to learn small business first hand.
You will be personally trained by "The P**p Doctor" herself, the top Colon Hydrotherapist in the South Bay with over 15 years of experience in the p**p industry.
"The P**p Doctor" is a Board Certified Traditional Naturopath and Colon Hydrotherapist, specializing in gut health and cleansing/detox. We offer a variety of holistic health services and are continuing to expand.
Colon hydrotherapy is the main service we provide, which is a professional e***a (the irrigation of the large intestine). You will get to work directly with clients and form real, meaningful relationships. This position is extremely rewarding, as you will watch clients heal themselves and you will have been an instrumental part of their journey.
You must have a passion for holistic/traditional medicine and be like-minded. We are not a conventional health center, so you must have an open mind.
No prior direct experience is required, we will train you, but you must be technology literate and open-minded. You need to be motivated, responsible, independent, and a self-starter. This is NOT a micromanaged position, you will eventually be seeing your own clients without supervision.
Prior experience and/or knowledge of herbs, natural supplements, holistic medicine, detox pathways, etc. a huge plus!
Duties include:
Data entry
Check in and check out of clients
Billing (no experience necessary, but must be technology literate. We will train you on Quickbooks)
Social media management and marketing such as email campaigns, creating content, etc.
Inventory and ordering supplies, stocking shelves and rooms
Keeping the office neat and clean, taking out trash, opening and/or closing down the office
Washing and folding laundry
Setting up and cleaning saunas and other detox services
Cleaning room after clients and getting them set up for the next visit (this includes colon hydrotherapy rooms)
Helping with additional services as they are introduced
Make clients feel welcome, appreciated, and supported
Explain therapy procedures to new clients, making them feel comfortable, confident, and at ease
Checking on clients regularly throughout detox sessions
Help answer any questions clients may have relating to health/herbs and point them in the right direction

We are open 7 days a week 9am-9pm and hours will vary. We are very reasonable with accommodating your preferred work schedule and flexible with work hours. Another perk is that you will be able to do the services we offer for free. Bonus pay, commission on sales, and tips are paid on top of regular hourly pay.
