AVA Wellness clinic was launched in 2017 to address growing consumer demand for more holistic and rejuvenate health care services. Dr Amir Hadid, a urogynecologic surgeon with over 30 years clinical experience joined the AVA Wellness clinic in San Jose, California. He now specializes in Thermiva treatments that help with feminine incontinence and pelvic floor rejuvenation. He also promotes women’s wellness overall.

AVA Wellness MD, a new wellness clinic located in San Jose, California specializing in integrative medicine and feminine rejuvenation services, is pleased to announce that Amir Hadid MD is overseeing the clinic’s pelvic health, intimate wellness, hormone therapy and skin care services. Dr. Hadid has over 30 years of experience in gynecology and has served as Chief of the Urogynecology Department at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose for nearly 20 years.

Dr. Hadid is a British Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and Fellow of the American College for Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He graduated from Alexandria University Medical School and trained in London, UK teaching hospitals. During his long career at Kaiser Permanente, he was directly responsible for introducing and implementing many new therapeutic procedures, which were appreciated by patients and colleagues alike. He is loved for his genuine interest in all aspects of health care, whether it’s physical or psychological.

Dr. Hadid was also recognized for serving as the chair of the medical domestic violence subcommittee at the Santa Clara County and hospital level for many years. At Kaiser Permanente, he was known for introducing new technologies for the management of urinary incontinence.

Dr. Hadid continues to be a passionate advocate for feminine health and intimate wellness, even after leaving Kaiser in 2015. By joining AVA Wellness MD as lead gynecologist, he now provides breakthrough rejuvenation treatments such as Thermiva, platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy and Thermismooth. He also promotes feminine self-care, and helps women restore their self-confidence and overall well-being.

Thermiva is a non-surgical, non-hormonal, no-down-time therapy that uses RF frequencies that increase blood circulation and collagen formation to rejuvenate the pelvic floor muscles. The therapy offers women relief from a number of issues related to childbirth, menopause and the natural aging process and effectively treats mild incontinence.

“In fact, when we first began with the Thermiva device we asked for volunteers for a round of three-session treatments, which is typical treatment protocol,” says Dr. Hadid. “One volunteer D.G., a nurse in her early fifties, said that she ‘experienced marked improvement in her incontinence in just one session and will return for a second session.’ Our other volunteer, a mom of three in her early forties, received two sessions which produced the results she wanted. She’s not coming back, because she feels another session is unnecessary. I’m really excited about such positive results and I look forward to helping AVA Wellness provide the most effective intimate wellness care to meet the needs of savvy women in the Bay Area.”
