We are a Nonprofit healing center providing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Play Therapy, Sand Tray, Trauma Informed Therapy, and Education. The Walk Intuit team consists of highly trained therapists, equine specialists, and healers who are dedicated to helping others find their way on the journey towards becoming aligned with their authentic self. We specialize in equine assisted psychotherapy and equine assisted healing, helping those affected by trauma, assisting people on their spiritual path towards their authentic self, addiction and eating disorders, facilitating deeper healing through meditation, mindfulness, and spiritual work in nature. Walk Intuit provides; equine assisted psychotherapy, equine healing groups, meditation and mindfulness practice, expressive therapies, healing circles, retreats, supervision, training, and personal and professional growth. We believe that each person should be valued as an individual. Our professionals will assist you finding your way back to your path and increasing your overall sense of peace and wellbeing.

We're thrilled to announce our newest community program: A 6-week STEAM-based social play series where kids build friendships, creativity, and confidence while learning about our flock of 9 hens!

🌱Two Age Groups:
🐣 Little Chicks (Ages 4–6)
🪶 Feathered Friends (Ages 7–10)

Each group is limited to just 6 children for a nurturing, high-quality experience.

What Your Child Will Experience:
✨ Building friendships and practicing social skills
🐓 Learning about chicken care and behavior
🎨 Hands-on STEAM activities including: Chicken-themed art projects, enrichment & stimulation activities, chicken bingo, obstacle courses, egg collecting (when available!)

🌿 Meet Madison Baird: Supporting Children, Teens, and Couples with Integrative Mental Health Care. 🌿

✨ We're excited to welcome Madison Baird, PCC Trainee (supervised by Cassandra Seidler, LCSW #117734), to Walk Intuit's clinical team. Madison specializes in working with children (ages 12 and under), adolescents, and couples, using an integrative psychotherapy approach that combines equine-assisted therapy, somatically oriented practices, and mindfulness-based interventions.

Her training reflects Walk Intuit's commitment to embodied, relationally attuned care that meets clients where they are.🤍

As part of our community-centered model of care, Madison receives weekly supervision and ongoing training in trauma-informed practices, attachment-based therapies, and expressive arts modalities. We're excited to welcome Brandice Smith as Walk Intuit's new Director of Equine Programs! 🐴

In this role, she will lead the development and delivery of equine-assisted services, with a focus on trauma-informed, relationship-based work that supports clients and professional teams alike.

As a Trauma-Informed Certified Equine Specialist, Brandice brings extensive experience facilitating equine-assisted psychotherapy and coaching for individuals and families navigating PTSD, grief, and other emotional challenges. She is equally passionate about training and mentoring mental health practitioners and equine specialists, helping teams build confidence, cohesion, and ethical, horse-centered practice in the arena.

In her new position at Walk Intuit, Brandice will guide program design, staff development, and partnerships to expand access to high-quality equine-assisted services. She looks forward to collaborating with the Walk Intuit community to deepen the impact of equine programs and support healing, growth, and resilience for clients and providers.

When asked what she's walking into this year, Brandice shares: "I'm walking into: A big role in an organization that I truly believe in! I have genuine excitement in my being, and a calm sense our team will exceed even our own goals and expectations for 2026."
