✨ This Wednesday’s Support Group Topic: Understanding Your Baby’s Temperament ✨

Have you ever wondered why one baby seems so sensitive, another so intense, and another so easygoing — even from the very beginning?

This week we’re talking about temperament — the inborn way babies experience the world — and why nothing is “wrong” with your baby or your parenting.

We’ll explore:
🌱 Why babies are born different
🌱 How temperament shapes feeding, sleep, and regulation
🌱 What “goodness of fit” really means (hint: we don’t change the baby 💛)
🌱 How understanding your baby can make things feel calmer and more doable

If you’ve ever thought:

Why does this feel harder than I expected?

Why does my baby need so much support?

Why does what worked for others not work for us?

You are not alone — and you are not doing anything wrong.

Join us Wednesday for connection, reassurance, and practical tools rooted in understanding, not fixing. Wednesday at 10

If your baby latches, then suddenly cries, it’s time to switch into baby-watching mode. 👀

Crying at the breast often has a reason — and it’s not that you’re doing anything wrong.

• Frustration waiting for milk: If you don’t hear swallows or gulps, baby may be struggling to trigger let-down.
• Too much air: If feeding goes from gulping to pulling off and screaming, try an upright burp.
• Fast flow: Loud gulping or a stressed look can mean the milk is coming too quickly. Try positioning baby slightly above the breast to let gravity help.
• Not hungry after all: Disinterest or pushing away may simply mean feeding isn’t what they need right now.
• Shallow latch: Frequent crying with ni**le pain is a sign to get skilled lactation support.

Crying is communication. When we slow down and observe, babies often tell us exactly what they need. 🤍
