Do you have a professional background in counseling, education or a helping profession? Do you have skills that might translate well to mediation? We are looking for volunteer mediators that are bilingual in English and Spanish to take our upcoming three day Element of Mediation training.

Scholarships are available for people bilingual in Spanish and willing to commit as a volunteer mediator for a program serving parents and teens. Prior experience working with families preferred.

The three-day dynamic training covers the elements of communication, conflict resolution, and mediation. Topics include the psychology of conflict, the art of skillful listening, interest-based negotiation, ethics and limits of mediation, conflict coaching skills and more.
