We’re nearly halfway through the Winter Solstice Challenge, and our community of athletes has been showing up in the most inspiring ways.
While the season gets darker and busier, our athletes continue to carve out moments to move with intention, to tune into their bodies.
Across early mornings, lunch breaks, and after-work sessions, we’ve seen:

Today’s movement snack is butt walking.
Sit tall and use your glutes to scoot across the floor, moving from your hips up through your core. This simple drill builds connection between your lower and upper body while priming your system for dynamic movement, especially activities like running.

Little movement dysfunctions often snowball into bigger problems, especially when we push through pain, ignore them, or try to avoid them altogether. Over time, that leads to not moving well. And if you don’t move well, you don’t move often. When that happens, you slowly start losing the ability to do the things you love.
Too many people shrug it off with, “I’m just getting older, that’s how it is.” But that’s not the truth, and it’s certainly not inevitable. Decline isn’t a given; it’s a result of how we care for and train our bodies. The good news? You can change that trajectory starting now. The key isn’t pushing harder, it’s training smarter, in ways that prepare your unique body for real life, not just the gym.
Nelly came to us back in May looking for training to compliment her running routine, and she instantly won our hearts. ❤️
Already a very accomplished runner with 5 of 6 marathon metals from the Abbott World Marathon Majors, she was looking for strength training and some new “training tools” to support her goals.
Fast forward to the end of September, and Nelly crushed it completing her 6th marathon medal in Berlin!
