After hours of snow day scrolling, streaming, and getting back into work or school routines, your eyes may be feeling the strain, even if you don’t realize it.

A few simple habits can make a big difference:

✅ Follow the 20-20-20 rule: Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds
✅ Blink more often to keep eyes hydrated (screens make us forget!)
✅ Consider digital-friendly lenses designed to reduce eye fatigue and improve comfort

Small changes today can help prevent bigger issues tomorrow!

As the weather cools down, screen time tends to heat up. ❄️💻

Increased indoor time often means more exposure to blue light, which can contribute to digital eye strain, headaches, and fatigue.

Your eyes work hard for you all day. Give them the care they deserve this season. 💙

In one study, 86% of Dry Eye Disease diagnoses had a coexisting diagnosis of Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD).

Never heard of it?

Essentially, when the Meibomian glands in your eyelids are clogged or not functioning correctly, they can’t secrete the oil your eyes need for a healthy tear film.

If you are finding that lubricant eye drops don’t seem to be effectively soothing your dry eye symptoms, it might be time for a change. Ask our doctors about MGD.
