This lovely patient came in this week for her 4-month post-op, overjoyed with her results. We had decided on a bilateral upper eyelid ptosis repair, to improve vision, as well as a bilateral upper and lower blepharoplasty, to refresh her look.

Her #1 comment? That she actually feels less tired, and that she has this amazing energy boost every day ⚡️from both looking herself again and having eyes that take no effort at all.

Before surgery, I don’t often ask to see photos of patients from their younger years 🤷🏻‍♀️- eyelid surgery is more about refreshing your current age & look, not about 🚫 reversing the clock ⏰

BUT - this lovely woman came in for her 4-month post-op brimming over with happiness, wanting to show me photos of herself from 5-10-20 years ago. In her case, after we did a bilateral upper & lower blepharoplasty, the clock definitely turned itself back a number of years.

She both looks and feels confident again in her own skin 💃 ⭐️😎

Open eyes & ready for a new chapter 📚

This kind patient came in for her 4-month post-op, all smiles ✨ saying “I never thought this kind of result was possible!”

She had undergone eyelid surgery previously, years before with another surgeon, but her lift was never all that significant. We decided on a bilateral external ptosis repair with skin excision to achieve more lift. She still has some mild swelling at 4 months, which will continue to improve over the next year.

It’s not always about looks - restoring eyelids to their correct position can be critical for staying safe on the road too 💯

This gentleman works hard to support his family by driving the overnight shift at a trucking company 🚛🚚 Over time his upper & lower eyelids had become so droopy, he was having trouble keeping them open during long drives. He was also experiencing redness and tearing most nights.

We decided on a 2-step correction. First, we tightened his lower eyelids with a lateral canthoplasty. Once this had healed and his eye irritation had resolved, we proceeded with a bilateral upper eyelid ptosis repair. Here he is 4 months after his 2nd surgery, doing great and driving comfortably through the night 👍 🌃🌛

Gorgeous inside & out - this woman can’t help but sparkle through her eyes ✨😊

Her transformation started with an upper blepharoplasty and browpexy in the clinic using local anesthetic, then later when she was ready, we completed her look with a lower blepharoplasty in the OR. Here she is 1.5 years after her upper eyelid & brow surgery, and 4 months after her lower eyelid surgery.

Small, subtle changes can have a huge impact - both on 1) vision and 2) how we feel when we look in the mirror 🪞

This sweet woman had a bilateral upper blepharoplasty (skin removal) done with another surgeon. She noticed afterwards that her left upper eyelid still looked too low and also blocked her vision. She felt that her left upper eyelid crease and volume looked a bit different, too. At her evaluation, we determined that she had underlying ptosis (drooping due to muscle weakness) of the left upper eyelid.

Here she is 4 months after a left upper eyelid ptosis repair, done from an external approach. The eyelid height is more even from left to right, the crease has improved symmetry, and the volume of her eyelids looks overall balanced.

She’s ecstatic to 1) have improved vision and 2) feel more like herself when she looks in the mirror. So honored she chose me to help her complete this last step in her eyelid journey! 💗
