I'm pleased to offer Psychodrama for Personal Growth and Professional Development on September 27-28, an in-person workshop taking place in Mill Valley, CA, (plus a 2-hour online meeting September 25). Early bird registration closes September 15.

This workshop is designed with an emphasis on personal growth. All levels of experience with psychodrama are welcome and encouraged to attend. For those new to psychodrama or to my work, this will be the perfect opportunity to experience a psychodrama weekend. If you are experienced with psychodrama, this workshop will provide an opportunity to do your personal work and deepen your knowledge of psychodrama. I'm excited to be offering Psychodrama for Personal and Professional Development on July 19-20, 2025, with a 2-hour Zoom session on July 17. This weekend will focus on personal psychodramas in a supportive group setting. I’ll provide some directorial comments and minimal teaching to prioritize personal work. It’s ideal for experienced students to deepen their practice and for newcomers to discover the method’s power.

My one-week introductory psychodrama course through the Drama Therapy Program at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, from Monday May 19 - Friday May 23, 2025, is fast approaching. If you’re interested, now’s the time to book, if you haven’t already.

This graduate level course is open to the public and is a wonderful opportunity to experience psychodrama for an entire week. The organizer, Drama Therapist, Sally Bailey, is happy to help with housing and the cost is reasonable. The students always provide a warm, relaxed Midwestern welcome.

This course will offer an experiential and cognitive overview of psychodrama as developed by J.L. Moreno and Zerka Toeman Moreno. The class will provide students with an introduction to the fundamentals of role theory, sociometry, and the primary techniques of enactment. We will discuss and practice the application of psychodramatic methods in group therapy and other treatment contexts as well as much more.

I’m pleased to announce that our Playback Theater Company will be performing Saturday, March 1st at 7.30pm, at the Marin Shakespeare Company Theater, 514 Fourth St, San Rafael. Our theme is Stories of Hope.

We are each born with the capacity for hope. It can provide the life force to create lives with integrity and lead to finding joy in all things. Hope inspires us to create a world filled with acts of kindness, open-heartedness, mutual support, compassion and love. Yet, when life is challenging, hope can feel out of reach and hard to grasp.
Join us as we gather and share our life stories based around this pertinent theme. Together, we will create a protected space to bring forth, honor and witness our sacred journeys.

A reminder that the early registration discount for the first of my upcoming workshop sessions, Psychodrama for Personal Growth and Professional Development,ends Nov 1st. The weekend, which takes place Nov 16-17, provides the perfect opportunity for students/participants to learn about or deepen their knowledge of psychodrama. I encourage you to sign up soon to save your spot.

My psychodrama offerings for Fall 2024 - Spring 2025 consist of four weekend workshops every other month. The training season will focus on psychodrama skills development and practice and will also incorporate philosophy, history and methodology. The poster below gives an outline of what will be offered.

I strongly encourage you to attend both the January and March 2025 workshops. The two-weekend commitment will allow for enhanced time to learn, practice and experience psychodrama with a cohesive cohort. A discounted fee is available to those who sign up for both weekends by January 2, 2025. This weekend provides 32 hours of training which is equivalent to a 5-day intensive!

Participants at all levels of psychodrama experience are welcome and encouraged to attend and shy people are welcome. We are a one-room schoolhouse, with each person learning at their own pace.
