As the days grow shorter and we move into the cooler, darker months, you may feel the pull of the seasons inviting you inward. What's cluttering your mind, your home, your connection with others?

This time, though full as your life may be, also offers a pause, a time for reflection, a time to count your blessings, and a time to lighten your load of the things that no longer serve you.

The October New Moon in Scorpio, infused with the otherworldly murmurs of Dia de Los Mu***os, offers us an opportunity for a triple dip into our deep intuitive knowing.

These energies are particularly receptive this time of year as the veil between the worlds is the most thin towards the end of the month.

What's revealed to us is not always what feels good or what we'd like to learn, and also, that Grace is often just what we need.

Let's come together to honor this pause and really feel into the moment.

Our emotions might not always be “our truth”, but they’re always valid, and can serve as guides to what we may need to explore, look at, and dive deeper into.

Join us, August 7th from 6:30-9:30 pm for a Cacao Ceremony.

In addition to the heart opening, nourishing, amplifying qualities of the Cacao, we will provide a safe container for you to explore all your senses through, sound, taste, smell, sight, touch, and easeful movement.

- Create a cozy spot just for you atop a Labyrinth, perched at the peak of a Hill
-Bathed in the starlight of the darkened moon sky

Solstice Blessings 🌻

Today I’m brewing some really potent medicine, a new one that I’m playing with, flower essences…

I woke up naturally at dawn so excited to connect with 3 different plants that have captivated me for sooo long - Plumeria, Hibiscus, and

I picked them after first light with such reverence for their offering.

I gently placed each flower in their glass bowls with fresh Spring Water and offered them to the sun - next to the plants they came from

As above so below…

A beautiful tropical rain came through that I let kiss the tops before bringing them in for a bit and back out again until night fall to capture that tropical Summer Solstice vibe.

To preserve the living Waters, I sourced some Kauai distilled pineapple rum ✨🌺✨

I can’t wait to share them with you!!!

- What a Day!

Thank you for creating such a great atmosphere and being the impetus for me to pull together a bunch of the Route Five Medicinals that have been lingering in the pipeline.

Phew - that was a delightful way to spend Mother’s Day - and feeling extra grateful that I had by my side sharing a booth!

Loved seeing friends and my own kin mingling whimsically amongst all the kindness that floated about in all those I connected with.

I’ll be sharing much more as the next few weeks unfold - more details on each new product and how to bring them into your life ❤️x

For most of us it’s been so long since we’ve soaked up the creative treasures of so many amazing makers - and now is your opportunity to stroll through BeAuTiFuL Sebastopol in a delightful, COVID compliant, outdoor setting.

As a Psychologist and Plant Medicine Maker most of what I do is intimate and lovingly clandestine and so this is an intriguing shift into a bigger way of sharing and expanding into the collective.

- mushrooms have wiggled their way into every formula and truth is - each one emerged from these conduits of life, communicators of unseen knowing, purveyors of truth, composers of density, relentless networkers of unimaginable possibilities.

Feeling so grateful for the medicine of these fungi allies.

If ever I find myself in doubt or questioning that all is as it should be - I sit with my fungi friends and listen to their gentle wise counsel.

How fun - I’ve been wanting to give the Reels Function a go and I’m smitten - I’ll try not to flood you with a thousand videos but you will be seeing more of them from me 🌹

~ working with rose is so pleasurable, every second of it.

This Rose glycerite is going to join some of RouteFive’s medicinal tinctures and teas - delivering a full spectrum if healing for every sense, every system and on all dimensions .

Sunday driving today- first Sunday in a while I can just roll down my windows and let the day sway me where I most need to be.
So far, I’ve walked the dog with Mike and the kids, caught up on a 22 day immersive course pretty much all jammed into today, made a delish protein shake, spent time with my garden/music/cacao, and now I’m about to distill several extractions that have been masterating for 8-ish weeks.
Maybe the day will change course but geeeeeze how I love days like today.
I know I said a few months back that I’d have 5 new Route Five Medicinals by now - but I underestimated how deep and prayerful the process is - and soon I’ll have more like 15 medicinals with a bunch of fun bonus treasures 🙊
On another note - I’m sharing my mug today to share my latest birthday gift to me from my favorite artist of all time - my Aquamarine alchemical bronze earrings.
Elizabeth is all in when it comes to creating all the things she creates - jewelers, homegoods, clothing, costumes, music (she’s a kicka$$ drummer), theater venues, props, sets - I mean there is nothing she doesn’t turn into magic!
The two longer necklaces I’m wearing are also from her and I know she has a few of the beaded ones left - I wear both everyday - yes totally wearable in this non- social gathering moment we’re in.
The middle necklace is Mother Guadalupe - a massive force behind my medicine making and the muse/archetype for the Route Five Sacred Anointing Oil - BAPTISM.
Now I’m just rambling - because I can, I can ramble today.

About Me

I traveled back once, to a time when I was about 4 years old. In this portal of me, I instantly connected with the absolute wholeness of my being. All was right, and it was clear that this feeling of rightness came from inside, and not the circumstances of my life. An acceptance of what is and a willingness to be a part of it all. All of it made sense, even the horrible, awful things that would come to be a part of my story. I laughed out loud, with tears of bliss at its pure simplicity. And still today, I get chill bumps just thinking about it.

Hello, thanks for checking me out. I'm Arinn Testa, a licensed Clinical Psychologist, decades deep into my practice. My holistic, brain based approach is influenced by many healing art traditions, and Jungian depth psychology. I work with Individuals, couples & Families.

Some of the ingredients that yield the fruits of my practice today are: many years of academic study, ordinary and extraordinary life experiences, healing arts teachings, a persistent practice of exploring my history, and when all is right in the world (wink), simultaneously focusing my awareness on the present moment. These are the guideposts along the way that I've relied upon so that I can be more of me with you - as we endeavor to bring out more of you for you, and the people in your life.

They shift me from a mechanical, textbook approach in working with others, into a traveler's mindset, full of discovery and awe in your history, your present, and the groundwork you architect for your visions.

Professional journey roadmap -

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist (#PSY 22398) with an emphasis in neuroscience and the Director of Research for Emotional Brain Training (EBT). My Holistic Psychotherapy private practice is located in Marin County at Gathering Thyme - a Holistic Health and Education Center.

I'm as comfortable backpacking with midwives through the remote rainforests of Central America as I am presenting at a conference center to a group of first responders on the critical fundamentals of su***de intervention. I'm at ease working at a pace appropriate for older adults in Hospice and responding to acute, chaotic crisis situations with high risk, mentally ill, criminal offenders. I've birthed 3 babies at home surrounded by family, and danced barefoot until the sun came up to live music and DJs. I've experienced incredible grief and the impacts of trauma in my personal life and I've reclaimed an awe for the grace and mystery of life.
