This holiday season, Link Therapies is proud to support the Comfort & Joy Holiday Drive benefiting families at the Bay Area Ronald McDonald House 🎄

From November 17–December 19, we are collecting new, unwrapped gifts to help bring comfort, joy, and a little extra light to families who need it most. Donations can be dropped off in the toy bin in our waiting room.

🎁 Items needed include toys, arts & crafts supplies, board games, travel-size toiletries, handmade blankets & hats, school supplies, clothing, and more.

This powerful little word can do so much!
Clients can use STOP to pause a game, stop a song, stop an activity, stop a feeling, or tell someone “stop please.”
Model it all week long during play, routines, and transitions! ✋🧡

AAC Word of the Week: GO 🟩

✨ “Go” is such a powerful word for communication!
Here are a few natural ways to model it:
➡️ “Go play!”
➡️ “Let’s go outside.”
➡️ “Car go fast.”
➡️ “Go to school.”
➡️ “Go swing!”

💡 Modeling “GO” in real-life, motivating situations helps learners see how the word works and how to use it without pressure.

🌟 Every child learns in their own unique way!

Some kids may be rote learners, others may be gestalt, visual, hands-on, or auditory learners—and many children are actually a combination of these styles. For example, your child might be both a gestalt learner and an auditory learner, or a hands-on and visual learner.

💡 Understanding how your child learns best can help us build on their strengths while supporting new skills in fun, meaningful ways.

✨ Remember: there’s no “one right way” to learn—every learning style is valuable!
