TMC’s Health Promotion/Disease Prevention will be hosting monthly su***de prevention trainings from September to December 2025. The training will educate participants to recognize su***de signs/symptoms and provide mental and emotional support for individuals in crisis. Anyone, regardless of background or experience, can learn these skills to keep someone safe and alive.

Get ready for the Touchdown Meltdown Flag Football Tournament occurring Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at the Nihi Dine’é Bá Wellness Center Parking Lot from 9:00am-12:00pm!

This event is open to participants 18 years and older with 5 players per team. Co-ed teams are REQUIRED. There will be a maximum of 6 teams for this event, so don’t wait! Pre-registration packets are available at the Nihi Dine’é Bá Wellness Center from October 22nd to November 5th.

Early detection of breast cancer is important and can help increase the success of treatment and survival rates of breast cancer.
Early detection saves lives! Monitor your breasts and perform a self-exam, or talk with your doctor about formal screening through a mammogram, breast MRI, or clinical breast exam.
Women should be screened for breast cancer every other year starting at age 40.

This month, let’s recognize the importance of breast self-awareness by knowing our bodies and practicing regular self-exams. Don’t forget to encourage your loved one to do the same.

TMC's Primary Care Clinic is hosting a Flu Vaccine Clinic for adults on Saturday -- tomorrow! Protect yourself and get your flu shot :D

Adults are invited to get their flu shot tomorrow! Come to the Primary Care Clinic at the Tséhootsooí Medical Center (TMC) in Fort Defiance, AZ from 9am to 2pm on Saturday, October 18th. Please share with your network - especially those who may not have social media.

An annual flu vaccination is the best form of protection. Fall and Winter mean gatherings with friends and family. Don't let the flu stop you. Protect yourself from serious illness and get your flu shot.
